Newsletter #7: A Lesson Learned and a Mistake To Avoid

Dear friend,

I hope you are having a wonderful summer. I know many of you
are probably spending time with your families, enjoying your
vacation, or simply working. I fall under the category of
work and no vacation, but it's still enjoyable...

Ok..Since the first series of newsletters has ended, I will
start a new series next week and will focus mostly on how to
gain quality tr@ffic to your websites. I think this is a
very important skill to learn in affiliate marketing as well
as in the long road ahead. So even years later, if you know how
to get quality visitors to your site, then you can reproduce
these same tactics over and over.

My goal is to get you to a point in which you can understand
how to market your product or someone else's product
effectively on the Internet.

In this newsletter, I'd like to recap some things I went over
in the past newsletters that were important to your success as
a Clickbank Affiliate Marketer and next week we can get into
the nitty gritty of RSS feeds, blogs, and more tr@ffic related
topics.

Ok friend, as you know, like all businesses, there are lots
of pitfalls in the affiliate marketing business. Committing
some of the most common mistakes will cost the marketers a
large portion taken from the pr0fit they are making everyday.
That is why it is better to avoid them than be regretful in
the end.

So it's best to learn from someone else's mistakes...Here's a
mistake that I constantly made during my earlier years as an
affiliate marketer and an Internet marketer. This mistake
held me back from potential pr0fits and potential success...

"Choosing the wrong affiliate programs to promote..."

I had mentioned a bit of this in my earlier newsletters, but I
will recap on it because it is extremely important.

Many people want to earn from affiliate marketing as fast as
possible. In their rush to promote a product, they tend to
choose a bandwagon product or aka "hot product". They choose
the product that is in demand without actually considering
if the product appeals to them. This is not a very wise move
obviously and I'll show you why friend...

Just as many of you, I wanted to make money online quickly
because at the time of my starting, I was in a bit of a
financial hole trying to put myself through college. To add
on top of that, I could not work due to a major physical
injury. So I jumped on the Internet business bandwagon trying
to promote anything I could get my hands on because time was
of essence.

Now if I knew what I am about to tell you before I made the
mistake, I would've had better success...So my hope is that
you will avoid this mistake so you will do better...

Yes, I made pr0fit here and there, but ultimately I was
promoting products that I had no interest or experience in at
that time which was MLM or Multi-Level Marketing. Now don't
get me wrong, I'm not saying that this is bad since some
people do well in it, but it was not interesting to me at all.
I then realized that in the future, if you promote something
you truly love, your efficiency in promoting it increases and
so do your sales because that motivation drive increases.

I have always loved Affiliate Marketing and Internet Marketing
since the beginning I stumbled upon it because it is easy for
anyone who doesn't have a business degree to get started. I
was not in any way a business major or had any relation to
doing business when I first started.

So friend...Pick a product that appeals to you. Then do
some research about that product to see if they are in demand.
Promoting a product you are more passionate about is easier than
promoting one for the sake of the earnings only.

Aside from that note, persistence and motivation is important.
Focused motivation that is. I often find myself distracted by
the Internet and things around me, so I often find that
disconnecting my computer from the Internet allows me to
focus on what I need to get done quickly and more
effectively. I am actually doing this right now, as I type
this newsletter to you.

Time is important too, BUT With focused motivation you do need to
spend at least an hour or two a day working on your business.
Even with a full time job, you can do it. I personally work a
full time 40 hour job and do Internet Business, Internet
Marketing, and tons more at the same time. I still succeed
because of that focused motivation. Thus, I believe you can
do it too. Try putting yourself in a room with no distractions
and come up with a daily plan to increase your Internet Business
potential and if you do have any questions that are bothering you,
feel f-r-e-e to email me. Amidst my busy schedule, I am happy when a
customer seeks help to get where they want to be because of that focused
motivation.

You can do it friend, just seek help if you need it...

UPDATES:

OK...So I am still squashing those BUGS for the Windows
upgrade, but I can tell you that it is being worked on. It's
not something I am simply dreaming about, rather in the process
of making sure that it fully works on different machines since
releasing an upgrade of BUGS is a no no.

I think it will be more user-friendly and of course it will
increase profitability as far as creating affiliate websites.

I'm excited, BUT will continue to squash the last few BUGS.
Sorry for the bit of delay. It seems with every upgrade, there
are BUGS to squash, but I'll get there...
