Weekly Newsletter #4: How to Focus on Creating an Affiliate
Website with Good Conversions.
***************************************************************
Dear friend,
You know how to create a website using the NVU tool from last
week's newsletter, so this week focuses on creating a website
that will convert well and what key aspects to focus on.
If you don't know how to create a website from scratch, then I'd
advise that you read last week's Newsletter #3.
You see, this also goes back to Newsletter #2 which talks about
how to look at a sales letter to see whether or not that product
you are promoting will convert or not.
Similar aspects but a little more apply to this week's technique
of creating a website with a good conversion rate.
Ever since Newsletter #1, these techniques that I have been
giving you come back together or intersect each other. When
they are combined, they simply become .... POWERFUL.
Here is a list of things you should focus on when you create
your Clickbank Affiliate Website:
1. Headline
2. Layout
3. Content
-3a. Convincing aspect
4. Call to Action
friend...So the list you see above are the basic list of
things you want to focus your attention to. There can be a lot more,
but these are the major factors.
When you create a Clickbank Affiliate Website using NVU or your
preferred Web Editor tool, you want to create a catchy Heading.
Let's use the example I always use which relates to - SPYWARE.
I would make a Spyware Heading that gives a problem. You can
say something like "Don't let Spyware take your computer by suprise,
steal your sensitive data, or slow down your computer." Then
preventingspyware would be your content and call to action below.
Moving onto the layout, it is important and required that you use
a web layout that looks decent. It need not be fancy. The secret
is to use Tables because they make your site look structured. You
can also follow the one similar to that of the tutorial shown in
Newsletter #3, which can be created in less than 3 taps of the mouse.
friend, You don't need to focus on creating a fancy design
with cool colors and pictures, just focus on giving your visitors what
they came to your site originally. In this case, the focus was on
Spyware and helping people prevent it.
Content, the Convincing Aspect:
The major part of your page should be the content. This can be a
recommendation of the products you are promoting or even an article
pertaining to spyware in general.
I often include an article or a related spyware topic, and then I add
the token variable sitemap to the bottom of that article so I can add
it to the CBNicheBuilder Tab 3 area.
You see, the content is the driving force of whether the visitor becomes
interested in your site or not.
If the content has no relation to the keywords, then the visitor you
came to your website searching for one thing and gets another
will lose their interest.
"That's why I focus on creating niche websites rather than websites
that sell different types of products."
friend, bottom line is give your visitors content that they want.
Of course that's where driving the correct traffic comes in,
which I'll talk about next week.
Call to Action:
After providing them the content, then give them a call to take
action to fix the problem that they are having. The Call to
action in this case will be the affiliate links you provide them.
You should include a maximum number of 5-7 links per page /
sitemap. Remember you don't want to overwhelm your visitor with
too many links because you want them to stay on focus.
Take all of this into consideration when you create your website
using NVU or any other tool you use.
Next week I will talk about driving quality traffic to your
websites. I will also include a bonus that I have been working on
to get to you for the past few weeks.
friend, I hope you will have time to digest the information
provide and the ACTION necessary to go to the right direction.
If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
UPDATES: The windows version upgrade that includes gravity and
production description search is finished, BUT is in beta testing
process. For those of you interested in this, you can test it up
until this Wednesday. My hope is by Wednesday to get this done
and get it out to you. The more people that can test this, the
better.
I'll be sending out another email tommorrow on a chance to help
you increase your clickbank conversions.
Thanks friend and don't forget that if you need help, just
fire me an email and I'd be happy to help you out.
